A couple of years ago something similar to this was shared by a friend.
Sadly I’ve no idea where they got the original content from so I’m unable to reference it.
Anyways I took the information and made this tweaked version.

It may be specific to photography, but the key points are still valid for any self employed person.
For numerous industries it’s surprising that many people undervalue, or simply don’t realise, what’s involved to run them.

If you are hiring a professional who specialises then you should expect them to have, do and think about all the points mentioned.
Please respect your chosen freelance professional, and likewise, they should also respect you by being a professional.
